I'm sorry but he had it coming and I hate to say it but I'm glad it was him and not some innocent bystander. Fact is this guy put countless lives in danger driving like he did in the streets. There's absolutely no excuse for driving like he did on public roads....that's what the track is for.

I'd take this as a reminder to drive safe, be responsible and respect your surroundings.

Ken Block was able to prove his driving skills, without putting a single life in danger....

Honestly, if this fellow's reasoning to use public roads in a busy city was to show off his skills and land jobs, I would bet that his chances would have been much greater had he used a controlled environment. I just don't see big sponsoring companies wanting to associate their name with "skilled wreckless driving" regardless if the "police respected him".

Either way, a sad story and loss. I can only hope that his comrades will think differently about how they make their videos.

^^^ Your missing the point which is you can prove your driving skills in many other ways than putting others at risk and it wouldn't cost a thing....empty parking lot, deserted road, etc.

Not really sure where you are going with this but seeing as I am not the person who financed this film, why don't you ask them :M5thumbs:
