I have searched, can't find the answer to this one...red triangle in dash, not brakes, oil, filter service. Just says "service due". Shows a car up on a lift. How do I shut this off, or is this a dealer thing. I know how to do the oil, filters etc but not this. It's a 2006 M5

My guess: the Vehicle Check. It should be re-settable using the familiar iDrive procedure. FWIW, the steps in this service are outlined in the Warranty and Service booklet, pp. 8-9 (for the 2009 books).
