Perusing this thread, I thought, what the hell, let's call Dani & see whether they'll good will me a mirror...
Couldn't believe it, received a phone call then an email containing a claim form & 1 week later, a NEW factory mirror arrived at my home...
I encourage all my leaking rear view mirror brethren to do the same...
