I got in the car today and looked at the mirror to discover about half of it is now hazy.
Is Sybesmas still a valid repair option?

You can contact Scott Wheeler, from Radar Mirror, fixing that will cost $100. His email is: [email protected]

I had some contact with him, he was prompt on his replies. But considering international shipping and customs for me, I ended up buying a new mirror from BMW.

Good luck!

As <!-- google_ad_section_start(weight=ignore) -->Tiauguinho<!-- google_ad_section_end --> <SCRIPT type=text/javascript> vbmenu_register("postmenu_4659538", true); </SCRIPT> said call Scott at Radar Mirror their turn around is pretty fast 1 day or so and the price is very reasonable. There is a thread on the e39 M5 forum. And a second to Rich_D's comment about getting it sort soon as the fluid is caustic and if it leaks (likely as it is pooled at the bottom) it will ruin anything that it drips on to.
