Ok, I finally getting around to swapping out my suspension. Question: The replacement rear upper spring pad is different from the original. The original is polyurethane, not rubber(PN 33532229858). The replacement Lemforder-BMW is foam. Is the new pad of lesser quality? It is softer. On my muscle cars a polyurethane spring pad is and upgrade. So... should I put back in the original? It's in good shape

Nope... put the originals back. They were super zipped tied to the spring too. I went with B&G Springs which I hate. About, to see them again as I'm putting a set of Dinans in that I have had on the shelf for awhile.
