The two rear tracks on my rear sunshade come up, but the shade does not. I found this video and it's the exact problem I'm having.

AGA's repair kit is a nice CNC metal tab replacement, but they want 138 dollars plus tax and shipping.

Are the metal tabs worth the premium?

I bought the plastic ones a big ago and just waiting on them to get here. I'll let you know how it goes. I wanted to go the plastic route to make sure that would actually be the fix to my problem before dropping $150 on the metal ones. My suspicion is that they will be fine and if they work a decade and break again... oh well I'll buy them for another $15.

Awesome, please let me know how it works out. I was kind of thinking the same thing... "I can repair my shade 10+ times if I go plastic, or do it once and never have to worry about it again"

well that's sort of my problem... it was some weird amazon dealer hence the wait. I did find some aluminum ones on ebay I should have got instead but alas I'm here and waiting.
