Just ordered 2000 M5 (titanium/blk exclusive) with rear spoiler delete. Delivery August. I'm not convinced I like the spoiler, thought I could always add it later. Dealer said the rear spoiler is attached with adhesive and a bolt on each end. Previous posts stated only adhesive. Who's correct?

I think BMW messed up on this one. My wife's E55 has the spoiler built into the rear trunkl lid and it is very inconspicuous. I deleted the spoiler on my M5 because is looks like an after thought, a mistake by the engineers.

Good call I think... I have a titanium silver and about the only thing I would have changed is that I would have deleted the spoiler. I do very little driving at a speed where it would make a difference, and it does look like an afterthought....
