Where I live, rear plates get stolen all the time. What can I use for a more secure mounting for the rear plate? The standard security bolts sold at Kragens wont work on an E39, as the stock screws just thread into a rubber bushing.
I am interested and hearing from anyone that has actually changed theirs from stock.
Thanks, Mike

You might want to pm member bob uenaka (that's his name and screen name). He had purchased some security screws for our chp 11-99 frames, the screw has two indentations in it, i've heard it being called a "snake eyes" bit. He should be able to tell you where he found them.

I purchased a SAAB license plate frame and switched to the Torque head screws SAAB uses at the same time.
