It does require a LOT of effort to get the rubber trim out - if you've bought a new glass then you'll have noticed the trim is already stuck on and has a few metal clips.

The clips are a right PITA to remove, and I remember my window-fitter taking 45 minutes to remove it (using pliers/grips mainly), yet only 15 minutes to fit the new one.

I should have thought on and taken some pictures!

Completely forgot about that other bit to unlock - even after seeing it get done

It still looked like a bugger to remove the old window clips though :hihi:

I can't even find any pictures on the 'net for it.
