There were 766 M5 saloon cars made as a 1993 model I think. As bubba966 pointed out, 261 of them were made for the U.S (and Canada), with a 3.6 litre engine. 419 were made in LHD-versions for Europe, Japan, South America etc, with a 3,8 litre engine. And finally 86 units were made in RHD for England/Ireland and Australia, also with the 3,8 litre engine. In addition to that, 265 units were made in the touring-version (for Europe), all with 3,8 litres.
