Before the winter I removed the summer tires from the stock rims and had Pirelli snowtires (OEM sizes) put on the stock OEM rims. Now that spring is here my choice is to remove the snow tires and put the summer tires back, or get a set of rims for the summer tires (maybe the M6 rims:)

Is it bad for the tires to remove/replace them? Is there a safety issue with doing this every year with the change in season?

Yes, it is a bad idea to take tires off and put them back on. The tires aren't necessarily rendered useless, but there is a good chance that they can be damaged. Also, with such low profile tires, unless the place that you go to has a very advanced machine, there is a good chance that your rims will eventually end up damaged. Your best bet is to get another set of rims.

Correct. Always keep another set of rims. I'm taking my winter ones off next week (at last!!).
