Well, fortunately, my big prob i had was just a bad
pre-cat leak, its fixed now, but my Tech had to do
a BMW Update, which in turn overwritesall other software in
the car. When I first downloaded my PChip software,
an error on stage 3 programming came up. Nobig, I retried
and was succesful. Now I tried, and it came up again, but
said I had to return to original to even start the car. Does
my tech need to re-install the Dinan software again before
I do this(thats what I had before)??? Is there a prob with the
PChip download?? I couldnt get through to anyone yesterday, so I am sure they will help, powerchip has been very helpful
in my prob, but of course it was one of the great board members here who actually had the prob pegged! Any help
on this would be great. thanks in advance as always!

BTW: this is the most insightful board going!

There is no doubt that the Team at PowerChip will walk you through it however if you have to return to original typically it is requesting you return to the previous format. The information necessary to do this is typically retained on the programming key that was used to program your car....this is if is was done between you and PowerChip with a serial cable....... if not you may have to have the dealer simply return the DME to original....no Dinan software required and then PowerChip will make the desired changes with you again.

I feel certain that it is difficult .... but relax..... help is only hours away.

Take care.

I too couldnt get my car to start on 2 occasions! And PC had to send the equipment to put it all right!.... well... most of it!
