Ferrari is lighter and more powerful than Porsche, eventhough it produces less torque. Both cars have insanely quick DCT for instant gear shifts. From a dig, Ferrari would spin its wheels too much. From a roll, it is a different story. Italia reaches 330 km/h while Turbo S top speed is 320 km/h. Ferrari wins at top end. Gustav, did you film Ferrari Italia vs. Turbo PDK?
woah, i aint been on this forum for a long time. thats my turbo s. just picked it up a few weeks ago and we got to 2000km and decided to try the launch control. very impressive. the vbox confrimed our time time of 29 seconds but it was in fact a couple tenths quicker than that! it would be quicker if we dropped the passenger and had only the driver. we have raced a 458 and suffice to say from a 70km/h roll the turbo s pulls out out car length every gear until 6th.
Carrera GT and McLaren SLR also need 30 seconds plus, to run 0-300! The same goes for Ferrari 599.
However, 599 GTO and Enzo, need approximately 26 seconds and would beat a stock Turbo S PDK to 300 km/h... by 2 seconds only! It makes you wonder if Turbo S produces only 530 horsepower.
I think that depends which car the Porsche is racing :tonquesmilie:
