Hi guys!

Im changing spark plugs and some other stuff as we speek. Got this brilliant idea to check through the spark plug holes with an endoscope..Daaah and found this in cylinder 6:

Seems pretty toasted to me? I’m guessing my maintenance worl this winter doesn’t stop with just spark pligs and valve cover gaskets…

Notes: The engine has 100k miles and runs fine.

I might be missing something but that looks like normal carbon build up to me. Unless you're running E85, the piston tops will have carbon.

Maybe I was overthinking it, but I tought there was some material missing from the top left at the piston

Normal level carbon buildup. Nothing to worry about.
