plus 6spd calypso
Hi Guys (and Gals, if any)
Sorry for the delay in posting on the latest Baker aquisition, work and lack of internet get the blame this time!
As some of you know I have been looking for a 6spd for a while, saw this one in the rare Calypso colour and was smitten. She has done just over the 100k recently had a new clutch and is so much tighter to drive than the 5spd Avus blue. The engine feels as strong as Jon B's car, which should prove to be fun at the NS! It just goes to show that it's not the mileage it's the treatment.
Panels are dink free and all in all I am very pleased with it. I had to change the front grill because it had been colour coded to the car and did not look right, now chrome, it looks a lot better. If anything the car needs a bit of contrast. It has the //m fabric in light grey but I think champagne leather would look fandabbydosy (watch this space).
