Hello everyone. It's been way too long and I know everyone is anxious for the next Palomar Mtn meet up and run. As many of you know, Palomar Mtn made the top 10 list for best drives in the country. If you need a overview, here you go. L A T E R A L G - PALOMAR MOUNTAIN. I want to get the word out early so everyone can make plans to attend to make this. Mark your calendars now....Sat May 24th (week after Bimmerfest) Palomar Mtn Run 7:00 am meet up.

The game plan is depart not long after meet up (please come fueled up or fuel up if needed once you arrive and be ready to roll). Once we reach the top of Palomar Mtn there will be a photo op so we’ll stage the cars and folks for some cool photos. If any knows a good photographer or has a really good camera bring them along. From there we will take that other EPIC road to the world famous Julian Pie company to grab some pies taking some other fun roads along the way. Lastly, we’ll make a final stop at the voted San Diego’s best brunch at the Pala Casino. Many of you know that the food is absolutely insane. From there you’ll have plenty of the rest of the day to enjoy at your leisure. If any of you are interested, there are plans to catch either the new Godzilla or X-Men Days of Future Past both in IMAX 3D. I look forward to seeing you all for this meet up & run.

*Safety is paramount. There will be no racing or reckless driving tolerated.

So tempting... 700 miles each way is a long way for a morning drive though... I'll just be coming home from a week long grand canyon run on the motorcycle too. Hmmm

Given that I've never done one of these I'll go ahead and sign myself up as well.

It is a month out but I believe I'll be in state on that day. If not, I'll give appropriate heads up.

If you need help with the drive (group leaders) we can have a few from Eurotopia lead.

Also can I cross-post this on the Eurotopia forum too? We've got quite a few SD/OC guys who'd love to make this run.

Sorry to hear. Why did you sell your beast?
I bought the car in 12', I think I kind of got over it mid 2013, needed something faster. I have a bit of a commute back and forth from Ontario to LAX weekly and it was getting annoying burning through oil/gas that quickly.
I'll buy a GTR as another fun car as soon as the 2011s are in my price range. I don't regret having owned that car at all
