I have a serious problem with my check engine light.

The car is a 2010 M5 with the V10 engine. (Yay!)

I had a check engine light go on.

Computer said "Calibration error before cat bank 2"

We replaced all four oxygen sensors, and we still get the same error message.

We checked for proper voltage going to the sensors. All good.

We did test Smog Check, and found that the emissions were all within California test specifications.

The mechanic is recommending a new exhaust manifold/Cat part for $2300 + $1700 installation = $4000

Has anyone ever come across this problem before, and what is a less expensive fix?
