Was out on road today, got check oil levels, added oil and about 30 miles later when I stopped, it was billowing oil smoke.

Long story short, oil cap did not seal and spewed oil all over the engine.

After about 200 miles home, most seems to have burned off. What's the best way to get the engine cleaned? I've heard steaming is not good.

Any thoughts would be great.

Thanks.

Every car dealer does it when you buy the car. Ask one of them. If you are thinking of do it yourself, Im not sure about pressure sprays, atleast not to be used on a warm engine!
