i changed my oil, but need to reset the service bar that appears every time you start the car. does anyone know how to do that?

there are tools you can buy to reset the sii lights, but there is a way to do it just by pressing the odometer and check control buttons. Might try to do a search on 'resetting the service interval lights' and see what comes up.

Bavauto sells the tool that resets the service indicator light and also reads fault codes for when the "check engine light" illuminates.:)
