Does anyone know what the torque specifications are on the lower section oil pan bolts. First time I have changed the oil and found a stripped drain plug that had been leaking slightly. Would appreciate any tips anyone would have for the process. Thanks!

If you can wait until this evening I will look it up for you, it isn't much, something like 25 INCH-lbs. I just did this myself but my copy of TIS is on my laptop at home.

It's a very straightforward job, just make sure you use a new gasket, no sealant is required. There are actually 3 different lengths of bolts, it is pretty apparent where they all go though.

According to TIS:

Fastener M6 8.8 is to be tightened to 10NM

This is not very tight at all.

Thanks alot...after converting looks like about 7.5 ft./lbs. Now I just have to wait for the gasket that the dealership failed to order and said they would ship to me today. Oh well, maybe tomorrow... It's below zero or pretty close out...last thing I want to do is get under my car.
