No, although it looks like a BMW rotor, M5 front rotors are of floating construction.

Would you share manufacturer and p/n of this part?

sure its brembo 09.9436.10. im aware that the stock one is floating.. but does that make a difference? i was thinking of getting this rotor and having it slotted, it would be a very very cheap but quality alternative to the oem one.

Well, floating is almost always better than non-floating...

Yes, it makes a difference.

Probably they fit as I'm aware of e38 getting e60 disks but still feel this as a bad idea.
