Does any one know what changed in June of 94 with regard to rear pads? Up to 6/94, part # is 342111158221 (Jurid 547) at $91.56/set. After 6/94, part # is 34212227325 (Textar 4057) at $178.50/set!

Are these mechanically interchangeable? Are friction compounds different? What is it that there is such a price difference? Is 6/94 when N'Ring brakes came out? I thought they were released in '93. The cost of pads for the rear are almost 2X the cost of the pads for the front N'ring calipers!

Edit: Answered my own question. The date does correspond to the introduction of N'ring Brakes. **** those pads are expensive!

OR, these pads are cheap when the little old lady pulls out, right in front of you, and you stop by inches.
