UK we have had some weather problems!

Here in sunny Southampton we have, of course, heard of the fluffy white stuff known as snow. SO imagine my surprise when upon awakening one day it’s everywhere! On the cars, roads, garden... everywhere! Time to build the mythological snowman! How exciting.... What people don't point out so often is how damn slippery the stuff can be.......

So here you are waiting for me to tell you that I crashed the M5, fortunately no! Instead I managed to slip up myself getting out of the M5 and crash ME!

Just from a small slip like that I managed to dislocate my shoulder and shatter the bone into a LOT of pieces. Managed to break the ball and socket!

1st MRI shows a normal right shoulder. 2nd MRI shows the shattered remains of mine. 3rd MRI shows a normal shoulder socket, the triangular shape to the right of the bone. 4th shows mine.

By the way any medically here have any idea how the hell to fix this mess? Docs here a bit confused by it!

Youch!! Thats nasty mate. Couldnt have happened to a less sensitive part of your skeleton.

As far as the snow goes, i had a proper morning of it in Bournemouth. Took the M5 to work and the the journey took me 2 hours going rather sideways. Its only 5 miles. She's still on the summer tread and we had about 6 inches of the white stuff on top of compacted ice. It was tricky but the E61 is more able than people make out. I'll walk tomorrow to save on time.

Get better soon mate and if you need me to come over and give the //M a run then im only down the road.

You have a fracture of the greater tuberosity (the bone where the rotor cuff inserts). It's out of place from the normal position and fragmented. You need to see and orthopaedist ASAP. If you want more medical advice concerning this, PM me. Good luck and I hope you have a speedy recovery.

Hate say it, not being a doctor, just someone who has broken just about every bone on their left side, looks like it might be time for a ball replacement. Wish we could all just absorb a little of your pain. I had my cuff repaired a few years ago and the recovery was worse that a triple by-pass. I have had two of the latter. Anyway, good luck...

From what I can see from the scans the broken shoulder is the least of your problems... get your back waxed you hairy beast lol!

Get well soon dude. Time to put a G-power or ESS sc kit on here while you are out of action and can't drive!!!

No snow here today in fact its a very hot 36 degrees and quite humid, looks like 38 tomorrow and saturday so going to have Chrismas day in the pool if that makes you feel any better... probably not!

Well merry christmas from sunny Perth WA.

Later homie

Sh!t! That looks terrible. Hope you're not in too much pain and your family are looking after you. Any idea on how long recovery will take?

Get better soon! At least it's not really M5 weather!
