They sell navigation computers? I thought they just did the tv units...Gustav said:Go to the sppnsor nav-tv.com?
Gee, that 'sponsor' doesn't sell to the "Public"... why bother?Gustav said:Go to the sppnsor nav-tv.com?
I think that's what he is saying. I called about two months ago and they told me the same thing. They gave me the name of two installers in my area that were authorized to perform the work.Gustav said:Sorry my mistake.
ard, I didnt understand "doesnt sell to the public"? Are you saying nav-tv.com is only accepting orders through retailers?
Yep- zero individual support. They just give you the name and phone number of the nearest 'dealer' in your area. I trust no one to modify my electronics- most installers are hacks at best- so why get them involved in my projects?Gustav said:Sorry my mistake.

Yes, perhaps ask them if they've ever actually installed one....boostmiser said:I think that's what he is saying. I called about two months ago and they told me the same thing. They gave me the name of two installers in my area that were authorized to perform the work.
Believe it or not, the dealer in Philly did perform a few...at least he said so. The questions he asked me and the answers he gave to my questions led me to trust the guy. Other things, like my clutch, need to be performed first though.ard said:Yes, perhaps ask them if they've ever actually installed one....
