Lol, so in other words, thassa no, you haven't tried them? The reviews said specifically that they were running them in an E60 M5, and the other in an E63. So I gave it a shot. The other nice thing is they are gapped to S85 spec (.032) right out of the box. From the box straight into the car they went, no mess, no fuss. Expensive though. But man! 500 mode is nutzo now (as if it wasn't already). Even the wife noticed the difference.
Most I reviews I read said they gave misfires. I also don't want to mess with the ionic sensing given how sensitive this car is to...everything (though if a worn spark plug doesn't affect the sensing, would a new ruthenium plug do worse? Anecdotally, I guess it could be better too). At the end of the day the only potential benefit is a longer spark plug change interval. Power will be the same on both plugs.

Rutheniums have seven 5 star reviews at Summit racing....

We are not the only ones happy so far- read comments in this video for example:
None of those reviews/comments are from owners of engines half as high strung as the S85 and really, comments on this sort of stuff is useless without controlled tests. Half those comments are probably from people that had 200k on their ecoboost and this is the first time they've had a sparkplug change. I'd like for these to work but honestly man, they are probably just as good as a new set of iridium's if anything. I also find it strange how so many people had issues on the S65 too. Bad batch they sent out? Possible.
