Thought I introduce myself. I previously had an e92 335i coupe that I just returned last week. I've been reading through these forums the past year or so and finally purchased a 2003 M5 recently. On to the pictures: :byee55amg

some pics of the 335i when I had it:

Returned my car to stock and picked up this beast:

Welcome! Good looking ///M there! Coming from a newer car, would you consider it a 'downgrade' or 'upgrade'?

Looks like you park in your garage like I do: backing them in! :cool2:

Welcome. Interesting that you came from the 335i. How did you like it compared to the E39 M5.
Both cars are fun to drive. I love how the M5 has raw power and the sound of the V8 is awesome. The 335i was fun and sporty little car. They were both different but so far I'm like the M

Thanks! honestly I don't think its a downgrade. It puts a smile on my face everytime I start it up. So far I'm loving it. The one major thing I don't have to worry about from the 335i is the fuel pump failing. I had my fuel pump replaced twice in that car.

lol up here in Calgary, we need garages since its so cold. I do like backing it up in the garage

2nd Favorite M5 color since it looks blue under some light

Welcome to the board!
Thanks! I'll post better pictures when there is better light out.

Thanks!

So far since those pictures were taken I have re done the tint to 30% all the way around. I have the H&S exhaust on the way, front lip here already from exotics tuning. Still deciding on coilovers. I might go the BC racing coils or the St coilovers.

Does anyone know if my wheels from the e92 will fit the e39 with the 20mm adapters? will it be flush

The specs on the iforged are:
19X8 with 235/35/19 front (approximate offset +38)
19X10 with 275/30/19 rear (approximate offset +39)

Welcome to the Board.

What's the reason for returning the 335i?

Oh yeah, and nice colour choice ;)

thanks! There were a few reasons. The payments were too much on 335i and my lease finished so I returned the vehicle. I needed a 4 door now and I have always liked the m5 so I decided this was the right choice.

I thought keep updating this post:

In March I redid all the tint to 28% all the way around. Also added an exhaust. Check out the quick video as well.

April Tested out the wheels from my e92 and the exotics tuning front lip:

A few random shots and some additions coming on for this summer.

This forum is pretty quiet. I guess my last set of pics
KW's are on, but still have to adjust the rear a bit.

Stance looks great! I recommend spacers or 9.5" wheels up front to square it up. :M5thumbs:
