New Passenger Side sill Required.. @rse`
The car park i use for work has these bloody stupid concrete lumps that stick out before the ramps that take you down a level, admitedly they are painted day-glo orange but that doesnt stop loads of people (and me lots of times) hitting them.
In 10 years I personally have destroyed 2 wheels and 4 tyres and a passenger side sill on an Audi TT.. and this lunch time i was trying to light a *** and press the answer phone button on my dash and i heard a familiar crunching noise and came to an abrupt stop. (my girl friend always says im not good at multi-tasking may be she is right! but id never admit that to her! )
So ive gone and done it again.. its flattened the sill from the start of the rear door to the back of the sill. :crying:
Ive been to the body shop already and he is getting back to me this afternoon, but said im looking at about £500 ish but when i did the same to the TT it cost £600 i think.. The fella was very sympathetic, he said he cant count the number of cars he has repaired with the same damage all caused by the same carpark!
Im going to have a rant via letter to the carpark...
And ill post pics for you all tonight as i havent got a card reader to take them of my phone at work.
Im SOOO gutted, and keep sitting at my desk swearing under my breath...ouich
