New M5!

Thanks to this list, I was able to take delivery of my new M5 last Friday. Ray from Classic BMW in NJ posted to the classified section of this list in late May that he had an M5 production number up for grabs at MSRP.

I was able to secure that slot and with lots of help from this list I selected Silverstone over all black leather, bruyere club wood, PDC, and split seats. I really appreciate all the help that I got from this list!

I took a courtesy delivery at Camelback BMW in Phoenix, AZ and took off driving. 1100 miles later I'm home and still smiling!!
Thanks again!

Congrats and welcome to the club! The real fun begins after the break-in period!
And switch off air conditioning and DSC System !
Congratulations Bob,

Now that you need to break it in, are you going to join us for the North Coast/Wine Country drive on Sept. 9?

I might be able to get away on the 9th. What are the details? Thanks!

I live in Saratoga as well. I just took delivery on my Titanium 2000 this past Sunday. What color is yours, I've seen two M5's in Saratoga Black and another Titanium. Are you one of them?

Bob U,

Send me your email address and I will get the details to you. It would be great to have you on the drive.

Bob R,

Congratulations on your new car. I have a Titanium Silver as well. Try to make our Sept. 9 North Coast/Wine Country drive - it should be fun.

p.s. There are a million postings on this drive under the subject "Bay Area Outing"
Bob R: I have Silverstone/Black and live real close to town, I'll be watching for ya!

jlvink: Unfortunately, the ONLY date I could get for my 1200 mile service was on 9/9! I'll have to pass on the gathering, but hope someone can post some pics of this event.
