New Battery AND Reinstalling ABS Module & VANOS Boards- Proper Order of Operation?

Hi all,

I recently had my VANOS boards repaired as well as my ABS module. While they were out, my battery died.

I am planning on:
  1. Reinstalling VANOS boards
  2. Replacing battery (Duralast Platinum Group Size 95R H9 Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) Battery H9-AGM)
  3. Disconnecting battery for 30 seconds before installing ABS Module
  4. Installing ABS Module
  5. Reconnecting new battery
  6. Starting car.
Does this sound like the correct order of operations? Should I just put the VANOS boards and ABS module back in and then connect the new battery?

Thanks

Like above you should likely have the battery out or disconnected to do any electrical work so that makes it last to be connected if doing any sort of electrical work. It saves shorts when things are unplugged but with computers/modules they also worry about surges, if the key was on or some other form of bypass.
