Too bad the NFS series has ZERO realism. But it's a cool concept.

I agree, great concept, poorly executed. The way the cops acted was very strange, it was very scripted. I remember hauling along surrounded by cops and they would suddenly drop off. I knew immediately there was a spike strip coming, and usually in the same place. I also hate how it didn't matter your speed, the cops still came after you. I started one game following the speed limit, still got pulled over.
