The Battery on my 2000 has finally given up. I looked at previous threads for a battery in SF area, and Batteries Plus came up a couple times, but could not find them here. Does anyone have a dealer in SF? If not, are these batteries safe to ship.
Thanks for any help.

Talked to the Douglas Battery warehouse (in CA?) (888) 372-4886. Great guys. Sent me to the closest distributor in Hayward CA (24 miles from home). Got the battery for $115 including tax (for the oem battery!). Ain't that great.

I liked the Optima, but was unsure if it was ok to install due to fit and required charging rate. (I believe these were AGM batteries which like 14+ volts for charge)? Also, the Douglas came with 800 CCA and the only Optima that looked close for post alignment was 650CCA. Would prefer and AGM, but did not see one that fit.
