The NAV drive has locked up on my '00 M5. I have tried the reset porcedure, but cant get the CD to eject. The CD in the drive, is a burned CD, which has not been an issue in other BMW's I have had. Any input is appreciated.

Open the trunk. Wait 20 minutes.

Press and hold the eject button.

Have someone else turn the key (or maybe just cycle the trunck lid a bit to 'wake up' the car. Key is to hold the eject.

Ideally it will eject before the drive gets locked up.

If that doesn't work, try unplugging the drive for a while. Then proceed as above.
