Sorry, I did search, and can't find the link for that official document that one can buy that has details about your car from the factory. I searched here and at bmwusa.

Anyone??

You mean the dcs? (Dealer Communication Sheet or System), also has everything any dealer has done to your car too.

You need the production Number or VIN. Talk to your service advisor, they can get one for you.

No, not that I don't think. I found the Porsche equivalent called "Certificate of Authenticity".

BMW offers it for historic cars and motorcycles....

BMW Certificates of Authenticity
The company archive also offers owners of historic BMW models the option of ordering certificates of authenticity. These certificates are made of forgery-proof paper and list individual specifications along with the exact completion and delivery date, the engine and chassis number and - if available - details on equipment levels of the relevant car or motorcycle.
