Hi All the wait is finally over, I have collected the Beast ( see pictures).
Funny thing the first 20 Miles were with a very loud exhaust , the flaps had been wired but hell that was loud and droned , anyway after my Hardish brake in 25 miles later , it quietened down to a great sound, what we think was wrong; was water in the exhausts as the car had 12 miles all told just being shunted around not warming up and been laid up for 4 weeks.
All good now.
Firstly the steering even in comfort mode is improved, the centring and holding it's line over some crap roads was very good.
The new IDrive has some new tricks, and the controller acts as a cursor in Internet and some map views, allowing movement in any direction across the maps.
Power : well just mental, I took it too 5.5K RPM up and down the rev range in 3rd/4th and was well pleased.
Now after 65 miles I will be driving normally.
We are going to Hampshire for 4 days on tuesday, that should get some good miles into the car.
I hope the pictures turn out ok. John
PS) CYBA Tips fitted wired valves open, sound is just great.

Looks sweet:)

Hoping Singapore compliment the Silverstone interior as well as MCB does.

Was gonna enquire how come yours isn't a 63 plate & then realised it must be a cherished number:)

is the steering the only difference in the lci f10 m5? the taillights dont look like they were changed , maybe the headlights?

I was told the rear lights & headlights are different in the LCi, as well as the steering wheel. Also the iDrive system & controller are different & the controller knob now has a touchpad system on it's head:)

UPDATE: Covered 1000 miles now Oil Level "MAX" at the top, that hardish brake-in seems to have worked.
On the Downside Sainsburys 97 ron does NOT seem to agree with this engine, very poor MPG compared too Esso97/Shell98 and now being tested Tesco99.

Funny how some engines like some fuels and not others!!!. Anyone?.:dunno:

Glad you're enjoying it John. What do you mean by hardish break in? You got your 1st service booked in?
