I was searching the site to know what people modify on their Alpina...I presently have a B3 3.0 1994 and it's stored for winter, so...since it's stored I want to search for parts for Spring! What would be small upgrades for the Alpina?

And I also need new tires, what should I got with? The original tires? or is there a good tire that does the job for cheaper...

Thanks, Ben

Modify an Alpina? That very :nono: among most of the Alpina owners (including me)

In my opinion, the Alpinas are best left as they came from the factory, but it's your car, so do as you like. Your B3 is probably one of the nicest B3's there is, and I just love the fact that the previous owner(s) hasn't even changed the orange blinkers!

However; common (and tasteful - again in my opinion) mods on a E36 would be OEM clear blinkers (front, side and rear), OEM M3 mirrors (might be to much for the Alpina community :grinyes: ) and maybe a slight window-tint.

As for tires, some Alpina owners swear to the OEM brand, but I think any tire from a major brand would be OK.

I probably won't touch the exterior, I like it too much :M5thumbs: even the orange blinkers!

It's mostly towards the engine, cold air intake, exhaust etc...I guess it must be really close to the 325.

I just want some opinions.

I would only change the exhaust for a different sound.

I have often thought about a Gruppe M

I would conisder the modifications would be the same as an 325 but I would be surprised if the B3 would benefit from these because ALPINA have maxed out the engine. For more power I would say a supercharger <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com<img src=" /><o:p></o:p>
