My driver's side outside mirror has de-laminated, $145 at dealer's just for the glass. Anyone have or know of a used mirror with good glass for sale?

Exactly the same thing has happened to me a few weeks ago, thought I was the only one.
Is this a regular problem on M5's?
Same thing happened to me. MY01 10/00 build date (I think)

Mine is a MY99, and it is out of warranty of course.
At first the mirror seemed to have some liquid inside, then it got fogged.
Coming from BMW, I expected the worse, that is, to have to buy a whole new mirror. Fortunately they sell just the glass.

The photochromatic mirrors that self dim (all the rearview mirrors on an M5) have a liguid inside of them. This liquid is what makes them dim, and makes the dim adjustable.
