A very rare BMW Individual colour which also seems to change colour nicely.

"The car now has 64,xxx kms on it. When I took the pictures I tried to capture the dual nature of the paint, i.e. green in the shade and purple in the bright sunshine, just like its namesake the Scarab beetle. In low light, it looks dark grey to black. It's been a wonderful car. I enjoy driving it in the winter, but in the summer I drive my Porsche Boxster S.

Based on a thread of a couple of years ago on this board, I've determined, with the help of my dealer, that I've got the only Scarab car in Canada. I believe there is one in the USA, one in England, and one in Holland. There may be a few in Germany, but I'm not sure. It is definitely a rare colour that gets comments whenever and wherever BMW enthusiasts gather."

Beautiful color! Not very green, but i see with the sunlight reflection where the green comes in. Reminds me more of violet.
