I noticed how nice ///M6 looks in individual colors.
I think they just added this part to the website for the ///M6:

http://www.bmw.com/com/en/index_narrowband.html

Ruby black metallic exterior with Marino leather gold brown interior would be my choice through individual or Moonstone metallic with Marino champagne.
What do you guys think?
I agree, maybe I'll take a ruby black one if this doesn't increase delivery time too much.

I just got back from Europe (took ED on my 645i) and while there I talked with Roger Fassler of Sepp Fassler BMW of Appenzell, Switzerland. He says the Individual Ruby Black is easily marred (scratches, abbrassions, etc. I'm guessing he meant) while the Blue Onxy wears much better. He says the Blue Onyx is almost black and needs the light to see that its blue.

I'm not sure if the Sepang Bronze (which is available on the M5 and M6) will be available for special order via Individual or not, but since I saw an M6 behind the fence at BMW M in Garching, that would be my color choice! I saw an M5 and a couple of M6s in Indy Red and on the cloudy day that I was there. I was not impressed with the color. I have no idea how the new Individual "Barbera Red" will compare to Indy Red.

I'm pretty happy with my Stratus Gray (which is both a standard and an Individual color). In the sun, you see the pale gold undercoat. Not impressive in the shade, but very classy and unusual in the sunlight.

Wow, thats a crazy price! Almost double to everywhere else in the world :(

Is it because of taxes or import duties?
Both I guess.

The only county that has equally crazy car prices is Denemark.

The Nomrwegian system is based on 3 parameters.

1. Engine size in cubic
2. Engine power in Hp
3. Weight of the car.

in addition to this we have 25% tax on the factory price.

Give you an example...

The price of some new or slightly used cars presently offered in Germany,

105000 Euro. take away german tax gives me a price off app 95000 Euros.

In Nok that equalls app 750 000 Nok.

Then we calculate the tax for the 3 different parameters called a technical tax.

Weight = 127 818.-
Power = 461219.-
Volum = 274704.-

This equalls = 863741

The we add 25% tax on the factory price and transportation to Norway = 188 310.-

Total price on the Norwegian marked will then be.

Car price in Germany 750 000.- Nok.
25 % tax 188 310.- Nok
Technical tax 863741.- Nok

Equalls 1 806 594.- Nok Equalls 219 000 Euros.

This is what i would have to pay if I import myselves. But then I could have the car next wek.

The funny thing is that on this lever of Hp, you pay app 1000.- Nok, for each Hp, this means that on a 645ci with almost 200 Hp less, you save on the Hp parameter app 200 000.- Nok. ( 25 000 Euros)
