I have owned a 1986 Mercedes 190E 2.3-16 for the last 16 years and was lusting, itching for a newer car during the latter years. Well the engine blew in August 2005 and the car was no more. I was bummed but hey, now I could act on my pent-up lust.

In the end I bought 2 cars in August 2005 and here they are:

Good EVO II Info:

Enjoy !!

Peace,
GR :7:
P.S. I should be satisified for the next 10-20 years

Hello M5_SMG,
I clicked on the first link and in pictures 2 and 3 the M5 is wearing a 5 spoke wheel. Per the sig, I guess they are the Hamann 19" HM2s, but I didn't find them on the Hamann web site, so perhaps these are for the MB??

Looks like the car might have come with 2 sets of tires - sweet! One for the street, and one for the track!:M5launch:

Very nice ride you have there (both cars) and a nice sunny neighborhood.

As I said before in a PM to you, the M is a great car with lot of grunt that was missing in many of our earlier Euro Cars.

That said however, I do miss my 86 190 Sport that had the 2.3 16V Cosworth Design Engine. I bet the EVO is just that much better.
Ken.
