Just installed it. Apparently, it MUST install from a CD. Otherwise, the install program won't find it.

I created an ISO image and mounted it, and the TIS installed without any issues. I'm going to upload the ISO and edit the link. Until then, use the .rar link. However, if you want an easier install, wait for my ISO :).

ISO...

I used this program to create the ISO.

And this one to mount it to install.

The ISO mount is fairly simple if your up for it.....and just to help build everyones confidence...I did a tranny swap last year on a E46 M3 with this manual. It was sooooooooo easy! The manual really is amazing.

Thanks again JizJizJiz and azaytsev!

Cheers,

Aaron

Thanks Aaron! I used the exact same program to create the ISO, but I used Daemon Tools to mount the ISO for the installation. The TIS ISO is being uploaded as we speak :).

Thanks for the efforts. I'm not extremely computer literate but I downloaded the iso file in the first post and after it says I need to insert a disk to start and it doesn't work. Did I do something wrong? Thanks.

No problem. An ISO is just an image of a CD. Think of it as the contents of a CD in a single file.

There are two approaches. The easiest would be to burn the ISO (which is probably what "insert a disk" means when you double click it) to a blank CD, and you can just launch the setup program from the CD that's burnt and run the application as such.

The second approach is what I did. I used Daemon Tools (www.daemon-tools.cc) to create a virtual CD drive (it emulates a real CD drive, but instead of inserting a physical disc, it lets you mount a .iso file and run the .iso as if it was burnt to a physical CD that's inserted in your computer). After you create the virtual drive, mount the ISO and you're good to go. A video is probably going to help you more than my explanation, so here: http://www.metacafe.com/watch/791302/mount_any_image_using_daemon_tools_video_tutorial/
