I've seen the E60 M5 seats, and I must say, that's one of the coolest things in the M5, it's a 'must have'. I read these seats have a special funtion of 'pushing' the driver when the vehicle is cornering. Does the seat need a signal to do this, or is it just something the seat can do on it's own? I mean, does the seat need more than 12V to fully operate, or not?

I have a chance to buy a E60 M5 interior (complete) for 2000 euros, and I was planning to build it into an E24 M635CSi, at least the front seats. Think this is possible, or not at all?

There is a chunk of cables under the seat, so not sure where the seat gets the info for the lateral G. It might be worth speaking to BMW parts and servicing to find out the information, as they might be able to provide you with a sensor if required.
