I don't think this is correct for Canada,146 (+ a bit more) grand is more likely to be the price for ///M6 here in Canada.I guess it would be around 120 grand Canadian for ///M5 but I could be wrong.
Anyways welcome aboard.

Nice work- can you put all the prices in the same currency format if you can run them through an online exchange rate converter?

I heard $125,000 CDN for the M5 in Canada, but we'll see when the official pricing comes out.

Best regards,

Base price in Australia is $A226K - but stark price comparisons aren't particularly useful when standard spec varies hugely from country to country. Different tax treatments also distort any measurement of the cost of ownership.

Just to show how much of a hard-earned M5 goes to the bunch of thieves calling themselves the Dutch government:

Nett car price : € 79.713,-
BPM : € 34.490,- (tax applicable to passengercars)
BTW : € 15.145,- (VAT, MWST, that sort of thing)
Gross car price : € 129.350,-

So they have another €49.637,- to efficiently dispose of. And the same taxpercentages apply to all options....... So vented seats at €681 become €1118.......

Wow, nice table ad thank you for doing that. It is amazing reading. No wonder cars are stolen to order and end up in China!

I think Singapore would be somewhere up there with Denmark... based on the E39 price + 15%, it would be about 320,000USD

crazy governments...

You need to be careful comparing prices between countries as not only does the basic spec differ from country to country but also warranty as in the UK we get 3 years warranty whereas in a lot of other European countries it is only 2 years.

In Switzerland you also have 3 years warranty and 3 years free service (including change of brake pads!!)
Warranty and service is capped at 100,000 km.

Condolences to the people from Denmark.:confused3
Thanks You. Now we only have to double the gas price (3 EURO), so we can get off the poor people on the highway.

I have received word from a local dealer that the sticker price in Mexico will be for US$115,000 (inclusive of VAT at 15%), no need to do the math, a bunch of pesos. Ownerwhip cost is high though since property taxes would be assessed for ten years at about US$6-7K, moreover, warranty is offered for two years only without any services (not even a free oil change)
