M5 get together Washington dc area

Hey Everybody!!

Seems like there are more than a few of us M5 owners in the Washington DC area. I think it would be great for a social or just a get together. I am a member of BMWCCA DC chapter and have gone to a few events and they are mostly M3 guys there. Nothing wrong with that, I just wanna talk about M5's. Anyway, maybe a nice day down at Hanes Point, by National Airport to show off cars and chat???

Yes! I second that motion.... and there are quite a few M5s around here. Mybe I should host another Bar-B-Q get together.

Who else is interested?
Sounds like you have a great opportunity. Have a look at this - I hope you find it helpful:

I would definately like to get together with everyone in the area for sure. I actually have kept checking the MD/DC/VA M5 board that has that BBQ from last year posted just to see if there's anything upcoming soon or waiting for the forum to open up. I've got together with some local BMW guys this year but as the only M5 in the group, so although it's nice to look over some very nice M3's and an occasional X5, I'm sure it would be a blast to get the M5 guys together and talk beast. I'm in!:wroom::thumbsup:

I'm in also - been awhile since we had a get together. I think there is a local board for the M5 guys in the DC/VA/MD area. I met up with some guys in Tysons a while back - Barbeque sounds great - just let me know when and where.

I'd be done for a meet.

Definately, I thought it was Mpowered.com but it hasn't been updated in some time and the board hasn't been available since I've seen it.

The site is m-powered.com, however the forum is not working. I am guessing that David is too busy to get it running again :sad1:

Since there is interest in a get together, I will look over my calander and suggest several dates for a Bar-B-Q and see if we can put this together. Last year was a good turn out.

Name a date and I will be there! I have a very very flexible schedule.
Please post in the 'meets & events' forum :)
I will be up to that. Great idea!

Please RSVP under the "Event" section on the first page. Actually, Mr Bock is hosting the party and that is who you need to notify and all the info can be found there.:flag:
