That suck. :( Hope the driver is ok. :(
He'll be fine. Passenger cell untouched and I don't see a hole in the windshield so he was a clever boy in wearing his seatbelt if nothing else. Bits that fell off are designed to in order to take force out of the impact. Still, it's always eery to see this kind of thing.

As for the stickers, whoever fitted the exhaust should have removed the stickers. Only probably didn't know. Red engine cover is, er, an interesting look.

the black trunk and roof
and hood.....

What's the average daytime temp in Dubai?

That has to surely absorb a lot of heat from the sun.....

yeah you can do that IF individuals OWNED oil. Governements do not individuals!!!!! Everyone think we can just dig our backyard and start collecting cash *sigh*

Im sorry but your comment is so ignorant.

Another accident in the Arab States

I hope no one from the forum and my thoughts are with the family of those involved.

This article appeared in "The Gulf Today" this morning:

http://www.godubai.com/Gulftoday/article.asp?AID=41&Section=Main

The "small car" the article refers to is an Interlargos Blue M5. There is a pic in the paper showing the accident. I have not included the pic in the paper as felt it inappropriate.

The guy driving was only 28 and obviously had ambitions that exceeded his ability. Since being on secondment here in Dubai for the last three weeks, it has stunned me at how wild the driving is. It seems that every second person has a high performance car that they feel must be driven as if it where on a race track.

Take care out there guys!!

I know I've seen that somewhere before on these boards. Found a couple of links, but can't seem to come up with the one that looks like the engine cover in the photos. Don't think these were what I remember, though.
