M3 on Ebay from BMW of Lincoln

Do you guys remember a recent post about a guy who bought a new M3 on Ebay and the dealer made several attempts to back out of the deal? Then out of a rash of bad internet chat, I think the dealership finally caved! I tried finding the post, but I cannot. It's a hell of a story.

Anyway, here is an email I just got on the subject from the dealer:

Gosh they sure are swell to deal with. What honorable citizens.

Funny, they forgot to mention that it took over 1000 posts on the M3 board, numerous phone calls from other M3 owners and threats of legal action to make them honor that price!
Or maybe they did mention it and that part of the article got deleted by accident because it was a 'mistake'!
