ha ha ha ha ha haaaa. they are made of synthetic material but the wheels, lights, and most of the body body are real.avlnch beat me to it!
At first I thought the cars with shadows were just an optical illusion and printed on the board but looking at this picture:
I think it's fair to say they're definitely life size models.
