Well I got the sensor mounted and the wire run to the interior, no problem.

I've been on my knees for about 30 minutes now trying to figure out how that lower dash piece comes off so I can find the switched power wire in the steering column, but I'll be darned if I can see how to take it off.

Is there some secret to it? Dont even see a screw to unfasten.

If you're working on the driver side of car..

You should first remove the door sill....pull out inserted anchors

You must then remove the side cover (hood release lever is attached to it) and not there is a fastner behind the hood release handle that twists to release.

Then you can remove the underdash panel.

There are photo/install proceed somewhere on net. Yuo just gotta search.
