Gang:

I need to re-dye my seats and the various places around town charge an arm and a leg. I used www.leathermagic.com for re-dyeing my 323. It worked GREAT. But I cannot find the exact code for my Caramel leather interior on the site. I have placed a call to them and hopefully will hear back tomorrow.

But.....just in case. Has anyone bought the Caramel Leather Dye (code M1CR) online?

Thanks

I had my friend run the DCS on the car.

Email me your VIN and I will have him pull it for you. OR you can call the dealership with your VIN and they will pull it for you.

You need some dye? If so let me know and we can combine the shipment.

Maybe we get together next weekend?

Hi Tim,

When I picked up my car last December I noticed that the driver's side seat bolster near the door had a few areas where the (caramel) pigment had worn off. Is this something that can be fixed with the product you referenced? Overall the leather is great so I don't want to dye the whole thing by any means, just a few spots.

Thanks.

I had the same thing on my car, Went to one of these local guys that works out of a truck. He does all the dealerships around here. Cost me about 150 but it looks perfect now.

Yes it SHOULD do what we want. It worked like a champ in my 323 convertible. My sister has that car now and it still looks great.

I would have gone with one of the local mobile dudes but they want to much money. Heck I can get the dye for 39.00 and do as many areas as I need.

My dealer re-dyed my driver's seat when they were showing serious wear at about 30k miles.

The problem is that the dye has been gradually fading (I'm at 92k now) , and the two front seats are different colors. The original leather on the passenger seta looks great. The driver's seat looks sickly pale and nasty.

I wish I had the dye that actually was the same formula (not just the same color) as the original leather.

My '00 with 36,000 mi has wear only on the bolster and a few small scuffs. Black Nappa Heritage interior. I'd do it myself if it is easy enough to blend the dye in so you can't tell.......what is the best way to go?

Same for me, same price and included one dentless removal!! He came to my office. Perfect match on color, did drivers outside seat bolster and touched up a couple of other spots too.

Jerry
