Car looks great! My only advice would be swap out the chrome window trim for the black version. It suits the M5 much better, and would go nicely with the other black accents on your car.

Before reading the other posts I thought I would be the first to comment on the chrome line exterior but I guess we all think alike. You should swap it out, especially considering the kidney grills are black on your car. The overall effect of the coilovers just looks awesome! Nice job.

Looks great! I got the KW Coilovers a couple months ago and mine sits at the same ride height as yours. Shadowman is right, mine handles like it is "on rails"....bet yours does too!

It looks great now. But I agree, it might look even cooler with blacked out parts. Eitherway, the ride looks great! It is hard to improve on perfection . . . :hihi:

They look awesome! I have a couple of quick questions. Which KW setup did you go with Varient 1, 2 or 3? Was it difficult to set up? Last Question, is why did you go with KW and not another manufactuar, which other brands where you comparing.

Thanx

His signature says variant 1. The KW coilovers are a great product, and until recently have been the only popular coilover suspension for the M5. Now there are other competitors such as Ground Control, but KW has proven to still be a top pick. Not only is it their quality, but also their range of products and adjustability and the name they have made for themselves in the aftermarket suspension industry.

M5Kid is right, mine is KW Variant 1 coils.

I chose KW coils because I heard that they have the lowest drop. I'll also plan to track the car maybe only 3 - 4 times a year, so I need coils that are very comfortable for street driving.

It's very easy to adjust the height on these coils, you just need to jack the car, don't need to remove the wheels.

It doesn't look like there is adjustable camber plates with these coilovers--is that correct? What options do you have to add in camber plates with these coilovers? I would think that would be important for track use and tire wear considerations.

Car looks quite stunning (maybe I should say impressive!)

How is the ride? and how low is it from the center cap to fender.

B greg: No camber plates, options are GC and Kmac and Dinan.

The ride is a little bit firm than the stock M5 springs/shocks but still very comfortable for street driving.

About the drop, I'll measure it this weekend.
