I have just renewed my BMW Warranty for next year at a cost of £620...

I was wondering whether to do it as it seemed quite expensive but a collegue of mine drives a Jaguar 2.5 X-Type (Somebody has to..) and he had to renew his warranty at a cost of £795 for a year!!! (Even though his car is just a reshelled Mondeo!!!!).

After he had told me how much his was to renew i got on the phone and did it, BMW's seemed great value.....

Oh well MoT in a month so i should get back some of the warranty outlay with parts needed for that......

The cost is £620-£650 depending on which dealer you go to.

It's well worth it.. I am in the process of getting mine done right now (takes a bit longer as it's LHD).

Mine is a Late '99 with 75k on the clock.

And the £620 was from BMW GB they wrote to tell me that my warranty is running out on the 3rd Dec 04, so all i did was call the phone number on the letter - spoke to a lovely young lady who took my payment....

Looking at the letter it also covers MOT insurance, Battery and Exhaust aswell as the BMW emergancy assist across UK and Europe (which is handy for me as my job takes me to Germany/France etc).

In my view i think £620 is a bargain, Thanks BMW :M5launch:
